Travertine Shower Cleaned in Huntington Beach, California

Before stone was cleaned
This travertine shower was never caulked properly when the glass was installed. The results, as you can see here, is that hard water constantly leaked through and left heavy alkaline deposits.

After stone was cleaned
Although acid-based products can remove alkaline deposits, they should not be used on honed or polished stone because the acid can etch the smooth, shiny surface and make it dull. These results were achieved without acidic chemicals.

Cleaning of a Travertine Floor in Laguna Niguel

There are two sets of images from the Travertine Floor we cleaned and sealed with a Matte Finish in Laguna Niguel.

Before
Travertine flooring has become a popular choice, but unfortunately requires regular maintenance to keep up appearances. The natural voids and indentations can trap soilage and deteriorate the stone as pictured here.

After
What a difference a day makes! After four levels of cleaning and filling most voids we applied a premium penetrating sealer which left a matte (non-gloss) finish. The results were dramatic!

There is also a set of before and after picture of the travertine cleaning and sealing that we did in the kitchen as well.

Polished Travertine Flooring – San Clemente

Travertine tile is available in many finishes and qualities but leans toward being soft and porous. This family room floor showed the effects of constant abuse by four kids and three dogs.

After
Here is a view of their completely restored floor! In addition to a heavy duty and detailed cleaning of the stone, we filled literally dozens of voids (holes) throughout the downstairs. Note the clean grout lines which help accentuate the stone’s details. Finally, after powder polishing and the application of a premium sealer the results show a beautiful high-gloss floor with terrific color and character.

Travertine Floor Cleaning and Polishing in Newport Beach, Orange County

Here are before and after pictures that show the results of a Travertine Cleaning and Polishing job we did in Newport Beach, Orange County, California.

This is a very unique type of travertine, which has striking color and pattern variations within the stone. Unfortunately heavy use has left it very dull and very dirty!

Now we can see a fully polished and cleaned floor with the original shine brought back. The stunning color variations are now very prominent!

One room has marble diamond accents within the travertine. The sunlight reflection through the windows is very diffused in this photo.

Now you can actually see the windows in the reflection after our polishing process! As always, we give the customer instructions for the proper care of their natural stone.

This unique and stunning kitchen floor is now restored to its original condition! The use of large slabs (as opposed to individual tiles) is uncommon, as is the marble and travertine combination.

Kitchen Travertine Cleaning and Polishing in Laguna Beach, Orange County

Here are before and after pictures that show the results of a Kitchen Travertine Cleaning and Polishing job we did in Laguna Beach, Orange County, California.

Kitchen are typically the dirtiest flooring areas in most homes (for obvious reasons). This photo shows extreme grime which has become embedded on the surface of the travertine.

And now, the final results! Here we have a completely clean and sealed travertine floor with a “matte” finish. The larger of deeper voids have been filled, so they will no longer attract grime and soilage, as always, we give instructions for proper maintenance.

Travertine Cleaning and Polishing in Anaheim Hills, Orange County

This is a tumbled travertine floor with many natural voids (holes), please note the tile at front left of photo, the many voids (both large and small) are embedded with soils and grime.

The after photo shows the travertine flour restored to a matte (non-polished) finish. The tile at front left is detail clean and sealed, the natural beauty of the stone is now evident, and the soils and grime have been eliminated!

Travertine Cleaning and Polishing in San Clemente, Orange County

Here are before and after pictures that show the results of a Travertine Cleaning and Polishing job we did in San Clemente, Orange County, California.

This travertine shower had mold issues, which is not uncommon!  We have not only eliminated the mold in the shower, but we also used an “antimicrobial” sealer which helps resist mold.

The master bathroom has a countertop finished with light travertine tiles, which is uncommon for a vanity top. We were able to eliminate many surface scratches and etch (dull) spots!

Travertine Floor Restoration and Cleaning in Yorba Linda, Orange County

Here are before and after pictures that show the results of a Travertine Restoration and Cleaning  job we did on a Travertine Floor in Yorba Linda, Orange County, California.

Grout lines can be a “catch all” for dirt and grime. This is a travertine floor which is in obvious need of restoration! The photo shows the results of a matte finish ( non-polished) travertine floor.

Please note the restored floor has grout lines that blend with the tiles so you no longer have a “checkerboard” effect. The true beauty of the stone now come through!
